Broughton Brings On Brittany Hines To Fight For You
Hi: I’m Brittany Hines. I will fight for you. Because I passionately believe that everyone deserves a fair legal process, I became a defense attorney. I am here to represent you whether you have been charged with either a DUI or other Driving Crimes. Also, both Domestic Violence and Assault. Plus, White Collar Crimes.
I was born and raised in the Central Valley. Also, I received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science at California State University Stanislaus. My Juris Doctor is from San Joaquin College of Law.
During law school, I clerked at the Fresno County Public Defender’s Office. There, I provided legal support and services on complex, criminal cases in both the juvenile and state court systems. After law school, I clerked at a local, well-respected, criminal law firm. Furthermore, I worked on a variety of criminal law issues. And I conducted research on a variety of both procedural and substantive legal issues. I currently, proudly serve alongside Fresno Criminal Attorney, Mark A. Broughton, P.C.
I have worked on a number of complex felony cases; for instance, both homicides and death penalty cases.
From the time I was young, I wanted to be a lawyer. Growing up in the Central Valley, I witnessed systematic injustices. As a result, I learned that trouble can be easy to get into. But hard to get out of. I saw good kids entering into the criminal system for both minor crimes and unreasonable plea deals. These experiences have made me passionate about helping minorities find access to justice.
While in Law School, I was an active Member of Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity. Plus, I served as Secretary, Vice Dean and Dean of Delta Theta Phi. During my third year, I received the Student of the Year Award. Also, I was a member of the student bar association.
Finally, I enjoy being involved with several community organizations. For instance, the Fresno County Women Lawyers, Young Lawyers Association, DUI Lawyers Association and the Fresno County Bar Association Criminal Law Section.
